Meningococcal B (MenB) Vaccine Enquiries

We are aware of recent media coverage about a potential catch-up programme for Year 13 students and university students under 25. At present, we have not yet received any official guidance or supply arrangements to offer this vaccine to additional age groups.

The MenB vaccine is currently part of the routine NHS childhood immunisation schedule for infants. Any extension to older age groups would require formal NHS commissioning and instruction to GP practices.

We are awaiting further updates and will provide information as soon as we receive official guidance. In the meantime, we are unfortunately unable to offer the MenB vaccine routinely to this group via the NHS.

If you wish to access the vaccine privately, you may wish to contact a private travel clinic or pharmacy provider.

Thank you for your understanding.
